First & foremost is God - with whom all things are possible and by his grace he gave me a wonderful, intelligent, eternally optimistic, loving, hardworking hunk of a husband who is the love of my life and with whom I will celebrate our 15 year anniversary this summer. I am also blessed with two beautiful kids - Russell who is 10 years old and has a love for life, a tender heart, smarts that blow me away, a playful personality and a brain that is constantly going. Cassidy who is almost 8, is beautiful and petite, has a passion for teaching, compassion for babies, pets and those less fortunate, always planning (she's making a quilt for her first real baby), loves with all of her heart, is confident and independent and has a personality all her own. And also Daisy, our 3 year old black lab who has converted me from someone who didn't want a dog, said I'd never let her in the house, said I didn't want to clean up after another 2 legged creature, much less a four legged creature and someone who thought a dog would be more trouble than they were worth - converted me to one of those "dog people"! And even though she chews on parts of the house and swim goggles, pulls my plants up immediately after I plant them and go in the house, tries to get the baby birds out of our bird house, poops everytime I walk her and drives me crazy at times - she has brought so much joy to our family and is a constant reminder to me of what unselfish love is - no matter how long we leave her she is ready to shower us with love the minute we get home. Wherever we are is where she most wants to be.
I am also so thankful for the rest of my family and friends and will go more into that later. I would like to start posting some of my cards and scrapbook pages - I spent some time today doing this with friends and neighbors at a local scrapbook store, Archivers. I love this hobby!! I haven't uploaded what I worked on today, so I will just upload some older cards I have made over the past several years! Until next time.....
